I am a retired United States Diplomat and not to sound too immodest but there are few professions that require the same level of poise, cultural sensitivity, and eloquence as diplomacy. A sense of humor is can be great asset on the job as well. Diplomacy is a career built on fostering connections, celebrating traditions, and bringing people together across diverse backgrounds.
